'Paths in the Snow' Book Talk

The Book Well in association with Darton Longman & Todd invite you to a special talk with Nottingham based author and lecturer Prof Jem Bloomfield as he speaks about his brand new book- Paths in the Snow: A Literary Journey through The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which traces the literary allusions and echoes to be found in this beloved novel, drawing the reader deeper into the magic and meaning of Narnia.

From Dante to The Wind in the Willows, and from medieval dream poetry to Dorothy L. Sayers, Paths in the Snow uncovers the literary connections which criss-cross Narnia, and highlights how stories, myth and literature played a central role in Lewis’ personal life and religious imagination.

Copies of Jem's book will also be available to buy at the event.
