Science Sue's The Science of Dragons

Join Scientific Sue on this most historical and creative journey of discovery

(Inspiration from the stories by Cressida Cowell on ‘How to Train your Dragon’*)

Her dragons are celebrating the hatching of the latest baby dragon, there is just one problem - this little dragon can’t fly yet!

With the aid of lots of volunteers, Sue will explore the physics of flight, the engineering behind capturing a dragon, the skill set required to train a dragon and the science behind many of the dragons ‘Fire Types’ – explosive rocks and gases, flammable liquids, colour camouflage, sparks, fire-fighting and fire-lighting gases, to name but a few!

With your help we might be able to help the baby dragon to fly!
