The Robin

“You couldn’t have found a robin with a redder chest or brighter eye.” 

When the children are cold and alone in the woods, the Robin appears and leads them to Mr and Mrs Beaver’s house. The children decide to trust their instincts and follow the little bird - who guides them on their way  to safety.
