EastSide Greeters

 

Coming to east Belfast for the first time? Why not meet up with one of our local EastSide Greeters?! 

We know that getting around cities and visiting different areas and regions can often be confusing and sometimes even a little intimidating. For this reason, we have a teamed up with local, friendly 'EastSiders' to offer a completely free welcome service for all visitors to east Belfast.

The venue for these bespoke greets is JACK Coffee Bar, EastSide Visitor Centre beside C.S. Lewis Square. Stop 8 on the City Sightseeing Hop On / Hop Off Bus. Greets last approx. 30 minutes and our greeters will be assigned to you visitors based on your personal interests.

What happens next?

Once you hit ‘Submit’ your greet request will be sent to our EastSide Greeters Coordinator who will endeavour to respond to you within 48 hours.

Upon confirmation, you will receive the name and phone number of your assigned Greeter. All our Greeters are local volunteers and no money shall ever change hands. All greets will be arranged to meet in JACK Coffee Bar, EastSide Visitor Centre, 402 Newtownards Road, Belfast, BT4 1HH beside the C.S. Lewis Square. Get off at Stop 8 if taking the City Sightseeing Hop On/Hop Off Bus.

Please note, your greet is not confirmed until you have received an email with more details from our EastSide Greeters Coordinator. Whilst we will do our very best to match you and/or your group with one of our EastSide Greeters however we cannot always guarantee that one of our volunteers will be available on your requested dates. In such cases, our EastSide Greeters Coordinator will be in touch to see if alternative arrangements can be made.
