Templemore Baths has been at the heart of the East Belfast community for 133 years! The Heritage Centre preserves the original Victorian features of the only remaining public baths anywhere on the entire island of Ireland. The building's pools, ticket office, and slipper baths tell remarkable stories of work and leisure that were central to the lives of locals. Titanic shipyard history is entwined with this building and the lives of Belfast's working classes during the city's rapid Victorian industrialisation. Life in Belfast during World War II and the troubles periods can all be brought to life here by our passionate local tour guides. 

A guided tour will give you insights into the building's architecture, Belfast's social history, leisure and sport and the epic restoration which finally saved the building in 2023. Our friendly guides have a wealth of local knowledge which ensures a unique experience and the onsite café is a great spot for a coffee, cake, or light lunch.
